Sophie’s mission is to hold on to a beloved heirloom. For her, it’s just a simple mirror. But for others, it’s a key to tremendous power.
When a whole new world full of magic is revealed, Sophie learns that her amulet can bring peace or chaos to it. She thought college was going to be the most exciting time of her life, yet the lurking danger and an all-consuming love make studying seem insignificant.
Will she risk the collapse of a world she barely knows to save her life, or hold on to the mirror to keep her promise?
The second book in the Soul Erosion series brings answers to the most ardent questions from its prequel, Soul of Light and Thunder. But new mysteries arise.
In the chaos of the tournament’s last battle, Sophie loses her half of the mirror when her worst enemy, Raiden, relocates them both to an unknown place.
Sophie discovers a reality-altering letter that only Raiden can explain. And next to his unconscious body is the other half of the mirror.
To find out the truth, Sophie needs to heal her rival. But what terrifies her more than bringing to life the man she fears most, is the possibility of his letter being genuine.
Sophie’s world is wavering. She has either loved and hated the wrong people, or she will be dead as soon as Raiden wakes up.

The last book in the Soul Erosion series is here to shed light on all the unanswered questions—but not without taking us through a roller coaster of emotions and plot twists.
The aftermath of a secret plan gets Sophie imprisoned in a place she has always hated. But she is not alone.
An otherworldly presence teaches Sophie how to wield her light so she can protect her mind and the mirror from evil forces. Her failure would mean the damnation of a world she grew to love and her success—its salvation.
To have a fighting chance in this undercover battle, Sophie left behind the man she loved. But his memory is what keeps her from breaking when she finds herself at the mercy of her captor, surrounded by pain and darkness.
Will their broken bond be enough to remove the threat from the magic world?

In a nutshell, Soul of Thunder and Light is Harry Potter and, Twilight rolled into one. Okay, there are no vampires or even a wizardry school in SoLT, but there is lots of magic and family drama with a good dose of romance that rivals Twilight for first place. It didn’t take long to fall in love with Sophie, our protagonist. Her journey into the world of magic left me wanting more. All the main characters are fleshed out and believable, and the story is perfectly paced. It's difficult to guess what surprises, good or bad, are around the corner for Sophie. And let me tell you, I thought I had the finale all figured out, but the plot twist at the end came out of the blue and left me speechless. I can’t wait for the release of book two. I highly recommend this thrilling book to anyone loving the fantasy genre, to those who are not afraid of magic and romance.
The lush depictions of the scenery was captivating. The characters weaved through the story are unpredictable and intoxicating. If you enjoyed the twilight series you would enjoy this as well! I loved that I could let my preteens daughters read it, who found it equally enjoyable. We anxiously await the next book!
"The storyline was simple to understand and fast-paced. The characters were brilliantly portrayed, and I adored them. Sophie is a courageous, stubborn, and fun-loving girl. The Saito brothers were excellent, and I enjoyed how unique they were from one another. I loved the chemistry between the lead characters, it was amazing. You get mystery, powerful male and female characters. The plot twist at the end left me speechless and tore me apart."
"I have a lot of feelings about this one. It's a great read that feels light. The magic system is not too complicated, with a beautiful and cozy scenery as the story progresses. It's easy to follow, the word building is great, the heroine is relatable. You get really strong, hot, mysterious guys, powerfull female characters, tension from time to time, and a mystery to solve on your own. Definitely waiting for vol 2 with my heart shattered rn."
"This book was a quick read and I read most of it in two sittings. There were hardly any dull moments and the action flowed from one scene to the next fluildly, keeping me reading. The action really picked up near the end and the ending of the book left me speechless! Uhm, book 2 when?? The magic system was interesting and unique but also grounded and made sense. I'd recommend this book to anything who loves urban contemporary fantasy and wants to read a story about love, magic and power."
"This is the debut novel in the Soul Erosion series and I'm totally hooked. Sophie is a really likeable character, she's just a normal girl, who finds herself in a strange world filled with danger and magic. The magic system is unique and down to earth at the same time with rules and boundaries. I'm eager to know more about the life of the warriors and their world as the series continues. This book checks out everything you need in a good story: magic, romance, danger, beautiful setting, cliffhanger ending. The Saito brothers are perfect, all 3 of them are charming in their own way. The story is fast paced and the ending leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next!"
